A day of events to raise funds for Haiti Earthquake Relief

As you may already know, Haiti was very recently hit by a devastating 7.0 earthquake; a natural disaster with staggering human costs. Please join us to take action and do what we can to help out during these times of crisis.

9:00 am: Glorya Kaufman Dance Theater
Benefit Yoga taught by Kishan Shah

10:30 am: Glorya Kaufman Dance Theater
Benefit Hip-Hop class taught by Jackie Lopez a.k.a. Miss Funk and Breeze Lee

12:00 noon: Grand Salon in Kerckhoff Hall
Student Committee for the Arts presents a live performance by RESTAVRANT, electro-country-punksters, to open Art Happenings Weekend

1:00 pm: Glorya Kaufman Dance Theater
Teach-in with Don Cosentino, Kathy Smith, Robert Een, Kimberly Mullen, Karl Jean Pétion, and more

5:00 pm: De Neve Plaza Rooms A and B
Bruin Benefit for Haiti with live entertainment, inspiring speakers, and food

6:30 pm: De Neve Plaza to Royce Hall and the Fowler Museum

$10 suggested donation for classes and benefit events, check or credit card preferred. All checks should be made payable to FACE AIDS, which will match donations dollar for dollar. FACE AIDS will forward all donations to Partners in Health, the largest rural health care provider in Haiti, offering “a preferential option for the poor.” www.pih.org
