NC Central students do a sexual health rewrite about body positivity, rewriting a popular song by musical artist Drake.

Step 1.

To create a sexual health superhero, have your students think of a moment when, in their lives, they needed and/or wanted an ally–perhaps of superhero strength–to swoop in and help them navigate a challenging moment, drop some knowledge, and/or stop oppression related to sexual health. You can use these questions to help guide the class in the creation of their superheroes:

  • What's your name?
  • What's your signature phrase?
  • Who are you?
  • What do you combat?
  • With what do you combat and how?
  • What kind of costume would your Sexual Health Superhero wear?

Step 2.

Allow students to share their sexual health superheroes with the class!
